Life Groups are small gatherings of people that meet together to talk, learn, and grow with each other. A bulk of the personal maturity that is attained in faith is in environments like this. Groups study the Bible and serve with each other. Everyone is welcome and has a seat at the table.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." (NIV) 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Below is the list of current Life Groups offered at Summit Christian Church. These subjects, teachers, and groups change from time to time. The first three meet every Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. Members of Summit Church host the Life Groups. The following previews each Life Group by topic and host.
Join Pam Berg as she and the group discusses how the letter to the church in Rome written during the first century can help us in the modern day with how we think and how we follow Jesus.
Gordon Young leads a guided discussion through the book of Psalms. An honest look at a relationship with God and personal applications are emphasized and talked about.
Dale Campbell leads a mid-week group on a variety of subjects every Wednesday at 7:00 pm.

Not at all! You might see a few people in button-up shirts and slacks, and others will be wearing shorts and a t-shirt. There's no expectation outside of "please wear something."
We are a non-denominational church affiliated with the Independent Christian Churches, a fellowship of like-minded churches all across the nation. It's born out of the Restoration Movement, which started in the 1800s for the purpose of unifying all Christians under one name and restoring the principles and practices of the first century church (community, grace, unity, and love are some major themes).
